Our mission is to get accurate information out in a timely manner.  We strive to be the first to hear what emergency services in Yavapai County are saying as they transmit it. We have been reporting for over 3 years and hope to expand our assistance to physical help to the community. Our goal is to work with our followers and those who have helped us grow over the years to expand to emergency relief and other forms of community assistance.
We were started by the West family.  AZ native Cole grew tired of seeing wrong information or dramatized details of emergency information. Fiona worked with the local emergency services and saw that many in the community were ill-informed of what was happening. With these reasons, they decided to start Yavapai County Scanner to get the word out and get it out right.
